In the middle of the buzzing streets of High Holborn lies the Rosewood Hotel which houses the Sense Spa. As one approaches the premises of the Rosewood Hotel, you can feel an air of sophistication just by the looking through the wrought iron gates. One can leave behind the busy buzz of their London lifestyle and embrace more beautiful things when you walk through its courtyard.

Rated the 7th best in London, the Sense Spa is a place of quality. Embracing guests like Justin Bieber and Ellie Goulding, they are home to celebrities who come here to celebrate their birthdays. Located on the 4th floor of the hotel, the spa gives off an energetic vibe due to its intricate yet monochrome designs. The bamboo walls, dim lighting, wood pathways, soft pebble floors and elegant fittings remove one give it an elegant and clean touch.

After booking an appointment, one is directed into the waiting area after a change into a bathrobe. As you wait for your turn, you will be served hot herbal tea together with a hot towel. The choice of spa treatment is unique in its own way depending on your needs. A Sense of Balance treatment, for example, is based on science and nature while the Sense Signature treatment is based entirely on Chinese cultural ingredients like shanzha.

Those looking for a rejuvenated face should reserve a booking for essential facial skin care. All products used depend on one’s skin tone and type and are focused on achieving healthier glowing skin.  You could opt for the Pure package Radiance if you want total facial skin rejuvenation as the Sodashi facial is a face mask is used to exfoliate the skin leaving it pure and hydrated. All treatment rooms in the spa facility have well-furnished and spacious showers as well as separate ladies and gents changing rooms. Between treatments, one may relax in the relaxation room full of beverages. For those looking to get treatments at the same time as a couple, the Duet Suite is available. Those traveling with pets do not have to worry. The Sense Spa is a pet-friendly environment, though charges may apply to those willing to take their pets to the spa.

As the spa is right in the middle of the City Centre, many landmarks surround it running from Piccadilly Circus to Buckingham Palace. At this strategic position, after a day of sight-seeing, one tends to be exhausted. At the spa, you will definitely experience life-changing foot massages stretching out all the tendons strained after the long walks. Its skin exfoliators will cleanse out any dust accumulated from the day’s work leaving you feeling very relaxed.

So, if you are visiting London soon, be sure to visit the Sense Spa which is an amazing way to de-stress after a day of sightseeing.
