Our social journey takes us down under as we stumble upon a darling online boutique that combines elegance with a touch of simplicity and decadence. Coco and Lola is a boutique located in Melbourne, Australia. On Instagram, they have a following of 78.1K (which is growing daily). Created by Jessica Dunlop in 2010, it is considered a fashion boutique known for being ‘timeless and feminine’. And we’re not surprised as to why.
It is clear that Jessica carefully chooses every collection, with the aim that people can cherish these pieces for years to come. The brand aims to be universal as it promotes both international and Australian designers.
Jessica started out in sales and buying prior to running a home-based styling and clothing business. This helped her gain 10 years experience within the fashion and retail industry. When she created the Coco and Lola brand in 2010; it was first a boutique in the suburbs of Nedlands, WA. Continuing from the success of this store, two stores in Perth emerged. This also included a bridesmaid store catering for the needs of local (and not so local) brides. Its success continued to grow as in May 2017, Coco and Lola welcomed a third store opening in Hawkesburn Village, Toorak, Melbourne.
Stevie May Substance L/S mini dress in navy $240
Backstage Jasmin Top in Black $180.00
We feel that their clothes are delicately unique as they add a new definition to elegant. It also adds emphasis to an extravagant form of casual, appropriate attire. Prices vary but I feel that there is an outfit and price that suits everyone’s requirements. The designs also compliment the individual taste and fashion sense of every diverse customer. This is not something that every brand does well and is down to a variety of designers that Coca and Lola have to offer.

Thurley’s collection consists of enduring pieces which are both contemporary and harmonious. They are established in evening wear, exquisitely garnishes dresses, luxury outerwear and extravagant gowns.
Stevie May is acknowledged for their modernistic styles and sophisticated luxury.
There is no doubt that the sheer range of clothes and designs from a young brand such as Coco and Lola is incredible. We can also see that Jessica has done a fantastic job making sure they match the vibe of her business and conveniently honour her own glamourous style.
